I am very excited to have a new year and new opportunities on the horizon. 2008 was a challenging year for me, and not that much fun! I am sure I will look back and appreciate the learning experience, but now I am ready for things to be easier.
Thankfully, I always have supportive people and companies behind me. My acupuncturist Ciel Walko and Energetix are two very good examples. I travel all over the world to compete in mountain bike races, and Ciel and Energetix help keep my mind and body primed for the job.
Every time I am in Asheville NC, I stop in for a visit with Ciel. We do an EAV to determine what supplements will help me the most, and then we follow up with an acupuncture treatment.
Currently we are focusing on cleansing from holiday excess and keeping my immune system in top shape. Biomatrix is a great overall multivitamin. I always need to keep my B vitamins topped up for energy! I always put Spectramin and Re-hydration in my water bottles to stay hydrated during my workouts.
By using EAV Ciel has helped me energetically identify my food allergies. I have a few allergies, but I am most sensitive to gluten. I have cut gluten out of my diet for two years now and have never felt better. I take Flora Synergy and Cat-7 to make sure my digestive system is working efficiently.
I am training in Laguna Beach CA right now and feeling healthy and happy. I look forward to my next appointment with Ciel and getting the season underway. My first race is in Santiago Chile March 22. Thanks for checking in!
