The nervous system is considered the master controlling and communicating system in the body. This, along with the endocrine system work together to regulate and maintain balance in the body, so if damaged or stressed, it greatly impacts overall healthy.

According to the February 2009 issue of the Journal of Medicinal Food1, clinical trials have demonstrated that Panax Ginseng may have potential neuroprotective effects after global cerebral ischemia (a restriction of blood supply to the brain causing damage). Use of an ethanol extract of panax ginseng seemed to lower free radical damage of cell membranes and increase the activity of glutathione and super oxide dismutase. Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant that is synthesized from other amino acids (L-cysteine, L-Glutamic acid and glycine) and super oxide dismutase (SOD) is an enzyme that also serves as a potent antioxidant to protect the body’s cells.

All the more reason to look at the Energetix Core Ginkgo Blend. This particular formulation utilizes Panax Ginseng as a companion to Ginkgo thus enhancing one another to support the nervous system and brain function. All of this in a spagyric extract makes for a highly potent and concentrated formula to assist this critical system within the body.
