Having been a “closet seminar junkie”, I’ve earned my pins and stripes for attendance.
But have you been to one of those seminars that just doesn’t seem to fade? A seminar that really gave you some practical tools to use right away? One where the memories of conversations easily come to mind? One where you really made some great connections? That describes the atmosphere of this year’s BioEnergetic College, and that was just the first weekend—imagine what’s to come!
If you have not been to the BioEnergetic College, you ought to start making plans to attend next year. The knowledge and experience of the staff and attendees would rival any combination of “Ivy League” school professors and research teams, and yet everyone comes with humility and an eagerness to improve.
Bob Burg says it best in his books The Go Giver and Go Givers Sell More. He emphasizes that is isn’t about “getting”, it’s about “giving” – it’s about adding value and constantly seeking new ways to increase the value that is offered. The BioEnergetic College is about discovering new ways we can give to our patients and to each other. And WOW, what a weekend it was—the first of three more to come! Patients deserve a higher standard of care and attention, but who is going to step up and provide the service before “getting” something first? It’s a wide-open field just begging to be served. And really, what more of a market does any business professional need?
